Dr. Krista Kruszewski-Menter
Dr. Krista Kruszewski-Menter

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Krista Kruszewski-Menter is originally from Brighton, Michigan. She attended Grand Valley State University for her bachelor’s degree and fell in love with West Michigan. She then moved to Champaign, Illinois, to attend veterinary school at the University of Illinois. Krista is very excited to be back in Michigan! In her spare time, she enjoys cooking with her husband, Ken, and being outside with their Alaskan Malamutes, Maple Blueberry and Volt. She also likes reading thriller novels and doing crafts.

Dr. Adam Dorr

Dr. Adam Dorr is an Associate Veterinarian with 10 years of experience in dairy practice, both in private and industry settings. He graduated from Michigan State University’s Veterinary School and has since developed a keen interest in preventative medicine and internal medicine to promote the overall health and wellness of his patients. Dr. Dorr takes pride in providing high-quality, compassionate, and low-stress care to his patients, while also ensuring that their owners are informed and educated about their pets’ health and treatment plans. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kayla, and their son, Teddy. Together, they enjoy boating, swimming, camping, hiking, and skiing. Dr. Dorr also has two dogs, Rudy and Oh’ Petes, and a cat named Bear.

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Werner Wegener, is a dedicated veterinarian with two decades of experience in the field. A proud graduate of The Ohio State University, he has honed his skills in veterinary medicine with a particular passion for surgery. Dr. Wegener is committed to continuously expanding his knowledge, always eager to learn new techniques and perform innovative procedures to benefit his patients. He takes great pride in providing exceptional care, ensuring that both his patients and their owners receive the attention they deserve. Dr. Wegener believes that effective communication is key, and he strives to answer all client questions thoroughly, ensuring their satisfaction with the care provided. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Wegener enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, embracing the outdoors through gardening, golfing, fishing, and playing pickleball. He also loves to travel and explore new places, yet finds joy in simple pleasures like family movie nights in the yard with a projector. At home, he shares his life with four wonderful dogs and three spirited cats.

Dr. Adam Dorr

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Allison Brombacher earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University and has several years of experience in small animal medicine. She has additional training in veterinary acupuncture and has special interest in ultrasound and endoscopy.

Dr. Brombacher’s passion for veterinary medicine began in childhood and was strengthened through her experience working alongside a veterinarian. She is passionate about preventive care and hopes clients understand the importance of annual exams, dental care, wellness bloodwork, and weight management in supporting pets’ long-term health.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors on local trails and relaxing at home with her two cats, Frankie and Jellybean.

Jen is the Lead Veterinary Assistant at Sheridan Animal Hospital and holds an Associate’s Degree in Math and Science, along with a grooming certification from Penn Foster. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster’s Veterinary Technician Degree program. With over 12 years of experience in the veterinary field, Jen strives to learn and excel in her role. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, fishing, and hunting. She also loves to relax with a good book or play classical music on the piano.

Desaray has been a Certified Veterinary Assistant with us since March 2021. She attended Animal Behavior College for her CVA and is currently pursuing her LVT through Penn Foster. Desaray enjoys kayaking and fishing with her friend Karah, loves horseback riding, and spending time with her numerous dogs.

Stacey started with Sheridan Animal Hospital in March 2020. She grew up in Belding and currently resides in Edmore with her husband, two boys, two German Shepherds, Nova and Maverick, and their 1.5-year-old Pomeranian, Buster. In the summer, Stacey and her family enjoy time on their boat or traveling. In the fall, she can be found on the bleachers cheering on her boys in football. During the winter, Stacey is at the Snocross racetrack in Marcellus, and in the spring, she is at the track field. In her free time, Stacey enjoys hunting, fishing, riding quads and snowmobiles, camping, crafting and DIY projects, and spending time with her family.

Kenna has been a Veterinary Assistant with Sheridan Animal Hospital since March 2020. She is currently taking classes through Penn Foster for her LVT. Kenna lives with her 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets, 26 chickens, and multiple other pets. She enjoys shopping, playing the piano, and having fun with friends. Kenna is a delight to work with and is always happy to see your pet.

Meet Nichole, a dedicated Veterinary Assistant with a passion for caring for animals that has spanned over a decade. Her love for animals started at a young age and blossomed into a fulfilling career where she provides comfort and support to furry friends in need.

Outside of work, Nichole is a loving partner to her fiancé, balancing a busy household with their two adorable children, aged 2 and 6. Their home is also shared with two playful dogs and three affectionate cats, creating a lively and loving environment for both humans and animals alike.

Nichole’s days are filled with a mix of professional dedication at the veterinary clinic and joyful chaos at home, where she finds joy in caring for her family and beloved pets. Her compassionate nature extends beyond her work, making her a beloved member of both her family and the animal community she serves.

Danny worked as a Veterinary Assistant in Irving, Texas, for about a year and a half before joining Sheridan Animal Hospital in July 2024. She grew up on a farm and loves animals of all kinds. In her free time, Danny enjoys spending time with her little one, going on hikes, and soaking up the sun at the beach.

Ella is a Certified Veterinary Assistant at Sheridan Animal Hospital. She completed her CVA from Animal behavior college in April 2024. Ella grew up in Sheridan and has always loved animals since she was little. For her, working in vet med is a dream come true! Ella has 3 cats of her own, Finn, Lucy and Henry. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her free time. Her hobbies include swimming, fishing, snowboarding and crafting.

Veterinary Assistant

Ashlea graduated from Montcalm Community College with an associate’s degree and then later graduated from Animal Behavior College as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. Her next goal is to complete schooling to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician! She has always had a love for animals since she was young and told how great should would do in veterinary medicine. She knew she had to make her dreams come true to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and has done just that! Through the years, Ashlea has owned and cared for a variety of animals including cats, dogs, raccoons, deer, rabbits and more! In her spare time she enjoys crafting, traveling, hunting, hiking and taking her dogs for walks!

Ashley is a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) who began her career in veterinary medicine in 2019. She is passionate about educating clients, helping them better understand their pets’ health, and advocating for the well-being of every furry companion. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and traveling with her dogs.

Bethany has been working in veterinary medicine for eight years and is a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA). Having been around animals her entire life, she has always had a passion for their care and well being. In her free time, Bethany enjoys reading, playing video games with her fiancé, listening to music, and attending musical theatre performances. Her guilty pleasures are coffee and gummy bears.

Regan graduated in 2025 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Alma College. She has the hopes of continuing school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician and then eventually move on to the DVM program. She has a 5-year old brindle Pit bull named Harley, who is the queen of side-eye. Regan lives with her husband and two roommates, whom have two dogs and a cat, so it can be a little chaotic! In her free time, she enjoys embroidery, reading, spending time with friends and family and listening to true crime podcasts.

McKenna is a pre-vet student at Michigan State University. She has a black and tan lab named Dixie Doo and she loves to spend time with her, as well as her family and friends! She enjoy being outdoors, cooking, golfing, line dancing and learning new things!

Katelyn is a graduate of Montcalm Community College with her associate of Arts & Science. She plans to work towards becoming a Veterinary Technician. She has always loved animals; working with them on her family farm and showing them for 14 years in 4-H. In her spare time, she likes to play volleyball, soccer and go out on the lake and camping with her friends and family.

Tami is our Administrative Assistant. She also does our surgery pre-registration. She enjoys numerous hobbies and spending time with her family. She especially enjoys the precious time she gets with her grandchildren. She has three kids and three grandchildren! And she has two Doberman Pinchers that are also like her kids. To all of the pet parents out there, we know you understand!

At home, Aubrie has 4 horses, 2 cows, and a dog named Otis. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with her horses.

Ashley joined Sheridan Animal Hospital in December 2025. She grew up in Northern Michigan and relocated to the area in July 2025 to begin a new chapter with her fiancé and 5-year-old stepson, along with their two cats, Bubby and Tig, and their 4-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog, Ottis.

Ashley shares a love of hunting, fishing, and hiking with her fiancé. Before transitioning into veterinary medicine, she worked in human healthcare, where she held a variety of roles, including participation in trauma and code blue teams, patient transport, and urgent care. Her diverse clinical background brings valuable experience and a well-rounded perspective to her work in animal care.

In her free time—when she’s not hunting—Ashley enjoys horseback riding, baking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
